Welcome to the iQ Search User Guide. This document provides instructions on how to use the iQ Search feature integrated within our platform. iQ Search allow users to ask natural language questions about their data and receive instant, relevant insights in the form of visualisations and charts.

iQ Search is a feature that enables users to query data using natural language. It leverages AI to understand the context of your questions and provides visualisations like charts, tables, and graphs as responses. This tool is designed to make data exploration accessible to all users, regardless of their technical expertise.

Accessing Answers

  1. Login: Log in to your IGGiQ account.

  2. Navigation: Navigate to the "iQ Search" section within each Module, where the iQ Search feature is available. This is typically located in the module's main dashboard or analytics section.

Asking Questions

  1. Search Bar: Locate the search bar at the top of the iQ Search.

  2. Enter Your Question: Type in your question using natural language. For example, "What was the fundng levelfor Q1 2023? for ABC pension scheme" or "Show me the asset breakdown breakdown by scheme."

  3. Suggestions: As you type, iQ Search may provide suggestions or autocomplete options. These can help refine your question for more accurate results.

Interpreting Results

  • Visualisations: The system will display visualisations such as charts, graphs, and tables based on your question. These are generated automatically to best represent the data.

  • Drill-Down Options: Click on data points within the visualizations to drill down into more detailed information.

  • Refinement: Use the available filters and options to refine the data shown, such as adjusting date ranges, categories, or other parameters.

Using Liveboards and Saved Answers

  • Liveboards: You can save your queries and visualisations to a Liveboards, which is a collection of related insights that you can refer back to or share with others.

  • Saved Answers: Save frequently used queries or important results for quick access later.

Best Practices for Using Answers

  • Clear Questions: Frame your questions clearly and specifically to get the most accurate results. Avoid ambiguity in terms like "recent" or "large."

  • Iterative Querying: Start with broader questions and then refine them based on the initial results to explore deeper insights.

  • Use Filters: Utilise the filtering options to narrow down data and focus on the most relevant information.
