Liveboards
Introduction
Welcome to the IGGiQ Liveboards User Guide. This document will help you navigate and utilise the Liveboards within our platform. Liveboards provide a seamless and interactive way to visualize and analyse data directly offering real-time insights and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
What is a Liveboard?
A Liveboard is an interactive dashboard integrated into the IGGiQ platform. It displays a collection of visualisations such as charts, tables, and graphs, providing insights into specific data sets. These visualisations are connected to live data sources, ensuring that the information is always up-to-date and relevant.
Using Liveboards
Once you've located the Liveboard, you can interact with it directly on the page. Here's how:
Interacting with Visualizations
Hover Actions: Hover over data points to view detailed information or tooltips.
Drill-Down: Click on elements within a visualisation (such as bars in a bar chart) to explore deeper levels of data.
Sorting and Filtering: Some tables and charts allow sorting by clicking on headers or applying filters directly within the visualisation. Use these features to refine the data you see.
Applying Filters
Global Filters: Adjust filters that apply to all visualisations on the Liveboard, such as date ranges, categories, or other key dimensions. These are usually found at the top or side of the Liveboard.
Individual Filters: Some visualisations have specific filters that can be applied to hone in on specific data points or segments.
Refreshing Data
Liveboards are typically linked to live data sources therefore do not need to be refreshed as use the most up-to-date data in the IGGiQ database.
Customizing Your Experience
Personal View Settings: Depending on your permissions, you may be able to adjust the layout and settings of visualisations to better fit your needs. You can save views by clicking 'Save View'
Saving Views: Save customized views with your selected filters and settings for easy access later. Remeber to give it an appropirate name such that you can recall it in the future.
Best Practices
Regular Review: Check the Liveboards regularly to stay updated with the latest data and trends.
Effective Filtering: Start with broader filters and gradually narrow them down to explore specific insights.
